Coworker who moved to a different store I overheard can’t renew his paperwork because of the current administration and will have to move back to Mexico

Pretty sure he’s been here since he was a kid. He learned English watching cartoons, has a daughter, was making his way up the ladder

Funny too he’s perfectly passing as a white dude, has no recognizable accent

It just gets worse by the day

It’s kind of shocking hearing about it happen here. Obviously it’s been happening here since the beginning, but to someone I know it’s very grounding

I mean I knew it was bad but it hasn’t actually happened around me yet. To someone I know.

Obviously I will be voting in November. After Trump’s mail-in order though it feels almost pointless. But that’s the point, y’know.

Exactly; all of it is the point to deter us so they can lead us to even more of an orwellian world than we already live in

but theyre not big scary monsters; theyre just stupid humans. stupid humans apart of the global fear mafia, who each use blackmail on each other, and are constantly running. their lives are hell, and mainly done by their own hand too.

theyre fools in “power”; but even that power is illusionary

the only real power is wisdom, and love

freedom, not inhibiting the freedom of others

even if they get their totalitarian technofascist orwellian forever world prison, they still lose. they lose out on the paradise that couldve been, too. hell is manmade. its that simple.

cuz theyre all you, and you are all them.

i hope we wake up soon, i hope we go to a solarpunk future rather than dystopia - i know we have the potential to make the grandest heaven ever for all, but whether we do it or not, is ofc not something i can guarantee - itll play out how it plays, and we gotta do our best to control what we can, and fight back and unite every step of the way
