Hey!

If you’re reading this, it means you probably saw me somewhere in person; and I wanna say...

How are you! :3

I hope you’re having a great day! :D

The reason why I do what I do is to spread a message; what message you ask?

Well, it’s quite simple, yet also very complicated...

Basically, we are being used as each others' enemy in this country.

During such a divided moment, there is something I would like to say to whoever is reading this:

I respect you as an equal to me, regardless of party, religion, race, gender, orientation, nationality, or anything else, even if you do not respect me back; my respect for you, and my compassion as well, shall not falter.

It is not a matter of left versus right, not us versus "them," but us against us, as it always has been, and will continue to be until we address this cycle we're stuck in head-on.

You, are not my enemy.

I, am not your enemy.

As a leftist trans woman, I would be saying all of these words (and have, and will continue) to even the most opposite of people to me; even if the respect is not returned, it doesn't mean we're any less of equals, and at the utmost least, I can respect you for simply sharing this beautiful earth with me.

No matter how far apart our views are, even if you were wishing death upon me, I would not wish death on you, nor anyone else. Not now, not ever.

I wish the best for you. I wish you happiness, I wish you safety, I wish you warmth and I wish you wisdom and growth and love and beyond.

When your roof is crumbling down, and all things are going wrong, even as a stranger, it is the least I can do to try and help in whatever way I can. That is what it means to be good neighbors, of not just this country, but of this earth, and of this universe.

And it isn't just me either, but millions upon millions upon millions of others are just like this as well.

I am no better, nor worse, than you, or anyone else in terms of value as a living being. That is the beauty in being equals; we battle over the labels, we battle over the filters, but under all the masks, we share the same roots - different branches of the same tree.

Regardless, however, that is how the people in power (and a long time in the making as well, both left and right politicians in this system) desperately want us to paint each other as:
the "Enemy,"
the scapegoat,
the distraction.

They are narcissistic, and money hungry...
They wish to profit off recession, our muted class consciousness, and eventually they wish to profit off our civil war they are trying to spark as well.

Above all, however, they too are terrified.

They grasp for "power" through money and surveillance for the sake of an illusion of control; a false guarantee or the idea of some secured future when, truly, only the present moment is ever guaranteed, and the only true power, is wisdom. Fear is an illusion, presented by the lack of understanding, aka, not yet having *faced* the fear.

That is why we must anchor ourselves in this moment, and in each step of the way, do our best we can to make the best happen for ourselves, for our family, for our friends, for our neighbors, for the trees and the birds and the earth, for all of everything as best as we can muster as these little humans that we are.

If we truly want to build a better world for all, it’s gonna have to start with us building bridges instead of burning them.

I ask you join me in this mission, to simply go love your neighbor.

It doesn't matter their party, gender, race, orientation, nationality, or anything; there is only one side here, and that is the side of life, of humanity.

Offer unconditional respect to one another simply for being equals; even to, and most especially to, the people who show you hate, ignorance, fear, the most.

Show them by example the way of compassion, love, and kindness, by offering it no matter what.

It’s such a simple message, but most take their whole lives before they realize this simple truth, walking all the wrong paths, hurting themself and hurting the collective self when they hurt another as well, before they finally realize firsthand from all those experiences the right path was the most obvious one...

The one of wisdom, of facing your fears head on, of embarking into the unknown so that you may forever continue to grow and evolve through making the unknown, known.

And from making the unknown, known, you too can come to acknowledge its presence, accept its existence, and thus, all the more to embrace and cherish the existence of... In other words: Love.

Just go and say to a person who you'd typically think is the most opposite to you,

“I respect you as an equal, even if you don't respect me back; although we may have different views, I genuinely hope and wish for the day we all get along, where we all see eye to eye and understand each others' pain and perspectives and make one another feel seen, where we can all come together and build the best world for all life and all the future generations to come."

Go ahead... try it!

And more often than not, very quickly, you'll come to realize we're all far more similar than we are different...

Of course, you cannot force someone to change. You cannot force them to choose kindness and love, but you most certainly can still choose that path no matter what, even when they do not. Again, show them by example through your actions the way of respect, maturity, strength; not to show off, not to be egotistical, but out of a genuine desire to bridge the gap, out of a genuine understanding that this is the best way you can take to get towards the best future for all. Doing your best in every moment, and walking the path of maturity, the hardest path, even when no one else does for the sake of walking it, for the sake that this path just might work, despite not having worked yet (improbable? yes; impossible? never).

We've always been interconnected, reflections of one another, each our own center of everything, our own unique iteration of that same craziness, that same absurdity, that same ineffability that is to be, instead of never being... and that is precisely what beauty even is; something that everything shares in equally, infinitely, and uniquely, SIMPLY for having been anything instead of nothing.

We are all equals, wanting unconditional love to reign free for all, but we get stuck up in fighting over how we tell it; speaking the same message, wanting that same peace and stillness, but telling it through different words, stories, and experiences - different approximations at the same infinitely complex and wonderful reality before us, different paintings upon the same blank, infinite canvas, in the exact same way in which we make up words, we make up stories, we make up languages and cultures, each a unique masterpiece, a painting, all interwoven on the same ineffable canvas, collectively forming the greatest masterpiece that is all of existence, before, now, and forever after.

In the wake of our confusion and ignorance, we hurt one another; from our ignorance is born fear, and from our fear, is born hate.

Hatred is just fear, and anger is only sadness.

If we wish to end the cycle of hate, this cycle of our own collective self-induced self destruction, we must face it not with more hate, but with the most obvious of remedies we've known all along within our hearts:

Patience.

Virtue.

Generosity.

Kindness.

Compassion.

Maturity.

Humanity.

Love.

And so, again, I invite you to join me in this mission: to break the cycle.

Be good, do good, and stay strong; you're strong for even making it this far... far stronger than you realize.

With all of our hearts,
for all the hearts of the world,

Kaiju 💜
